Young and Emerging Adults (aka Millenials & Gen Z)
Maybe it’s because of shows like Friends or Sex and the City, but somewhere along the way people started getting the idea that life as a 20-something is supposed to be fun and glamorus. The reality is that the term “quarter-life crisis” is being used more and more for a reason. Once upon a time your life followed a pretty structured path. Suddenly school is over, and all the signs that directed you along the way have disappeared. Emerging adulthood brings worry about career choices, relationship struggles, sudden loss of identify and direction. The comparison game with your friends kicks into high gear, as everyone is now making different life decisions and starting completely new chapters from each other. You might be feeling a real sense of uncertainty, grief, disconnect, and general confusion about how to create this life you want.
Our work together will help you uncover and identify your unique values, which many be different from your parents, peers, or coworkers. We can lay out specific steps that will bring you closer to the type of person you want to be, and consider how other behavior patterns might be hindering your progress. Your 20’s is the perfect time to build a strong foundation that will support you through the rest of your life, so let’s start this journey together!

Mental Health Support for Postpartum/New Moms
Are you a new mom? Does it feel like you're drowning? Do find yourself crying in the shower? Are you overwhelmed with or worried by intrusive thoughts? Are you struggling feel “in love” with your baby? Are you fighting more with partner or spouse? Do you love your baby but really miss certain parts of your old self? If so, you are SO not alone (although I know you feel incredibly lonely right now).
Theoretically I knew becoming a mother would be a difficult transition, but I was blown away by just how true that is. After my own postpartum experience, I became determined to offer a protected space for new mothers, where you can feel heard and validated. Together we can work through the confusing and often conflicting noise that mothers hear on a daily basis, and we can identify what you need to feel just a bit more sane on a daily basis. In this judgment-free space you NEVER have to put the disclaimer “I love my baby but…” before any of your sentences. I know you love your baby; You are also entitled to feel any of the dozens of feelings you probably experience in a single day. During our work together, I’ll help you realize that two things can be true at the same time: You can love your child so much it hurts and also miss the person you were before motherhood. You can want to stay at home with you baby and also really, really want to go back to work. Let’s talk about how I can help you be the best version of yourself.
